You need an entire, built pumpkin from a 6MT, not just the gears. Performance Nissan or any local dealership can get that, its just a factory part.

Or you can swap with somebody looking to go down to 3.3 gearing or hit up a junkyard for a pumpkin off a wrecked vehicle.

^^i dont know if this is an issue to you but fyi a lot of people lose the cruise control feature when they upgrade to 3.53 gears

i use my cruise a lot but if you dont then more power to yah and good luck

You need a full 6MT differential - with the gears. NOT cheap.

You can get one from a junkyard for about $500 and swap it in about 3 hours.

If you want to go with 3.92 gears - different story altogether.

The cruise control issue changed by year. Some years loose it with he ^mt ratio, some don't - I don't know which though - all loose it with 3.92's.

there is to much of a risk swapping gears from a MT to a AT i decided not to do it

lol im going to use my cc way too much to give that up..driving back and forth from la to sd

my foot will need a break!

I fortunately don't use this car for those trips. I am, however, still working on the workaround for the cruise control issue.
