How many have clutch chatter off the line?

My 2005 6MT recently developed a clutch chatter when accelerating from a stand still. It happens more frequently when starting up a hill.

I searched the forums on the problem and noticed that a lot of owners have the same issue. I also noticed that a 90% of the posts were from people with 2005 6MTs.

Can you please post if you have the problem, the year of your car, what you have done to resolve the problem, and if the dealer has fixed it?

I've had it since day 1, I have a 06 6MT Coupe. Dealer said it was normal, some louder than other though. I will love to know if someone had their dealer take care of it.

same here. 05 coupe and i just have to give it a little more gas. i notice if the clutch engagement is a little quicker with a little more gas, then it's smoother. but not too quick or you're likely to kill it.

04 6mt samething, but i noticed it's all how you do the gas and the clutch. our clutches are grabby and they dont grab fully till the pedal is high up.not like my old civic where it grabbed on right as soon as you let off the pedal.and down shifting is your friend! keeps a nice scrub on the clutch.ive only had the car for 3 weeks and since i started down shifting the clutch engagement has gotten TONS smoother.

Yep, my 05 has always had it as well. But its only really bad when i engage the clutch slowly. If I either hit it hard and release the clutch quickly, or if I give barely any gas at all and release the clutch semi-slowly I cannot hear it at all.
