i just drove a loaner car, man was it boring, i tried the "manual mode" and it felt like i was sitting in an arcade.. hahaa. press up for higher gears and down for lower gears... it has some ugly pedal on the left foot area for the emergency brake...

the only good thing about it was that it "felt" like it had a lot of torque for some reason.. my 1st gear in my manual G doesnt feel as fast as the automatic ones...

the reason i got an auto was...my past 3 cars were manual..and i tend to wanna race too much..so my last car + this car i got an auto..(previous 99' lexus gs400) and now the auto g35..and i gota say..it keeps me from racing.

and u see a freaking g35 cruise down the strreet..u gon break necks left and right..regardless if it was a auto or manual.

If I owned a 350z I would get 6MT but I bought a luxury sports car, 5at gets me around just fine, and I have driven MTs my whole life.

Brought my 6MT back in 03.5 when it came out and havent regretted it since. (mia this was my first manual).

IMO even while stuck in traffic I find manuals to be so much fun to drive.

5AT.

1) 4 years in rush hour traffic with a stick. Call me lazy, but no more.

2) wife cannot drive a stick.

Would have been a 6MT if this can be a true weekend car, i.e. I'm rich enough to own 3 cars and a house with a garage big enough for all three.
