lower shift fork snapped?

lower shift fork snapped?

i was getting on the highway and i shifted from 3rd to 4th and after that i felt nothing. no structure in the gearing i can move the shifter around in circles. i'm thinkin it was my lower shift fork..... im new to this world. help me out guys! is this likely?

does it feel like the shifter is striking anything when you move it around? it could be as simple as the bolt that holds the linkage to the shifter may have fallen out, they're not really torqued on very hard according to the factory specs (10lbft)

not really...... i can just move it in circles and nothing catches no gears or anything

you might see if rogue engineering or B&M have installation instructions for their short shifters on their web pages, those would diagram it for you . . .

thanks guys i just had it towed to the dealership.....pain in the @ss! but i'll let you know what it turned out to be!
