i knew something was wrong with the transmission when the rpms started fluctuating up and down. Cruising at 70mph in 6th gear and all of a sudden something pops and i loose all power. Had to get it towed to the dealer. Engine is fine. Does this sound like a worn clutch or a snyncro problem. This is a '05 6mt sedan with 11k miles on it.
to add insult to injury the tow truck guys backed a camnper into the driver side fender! Man I'm having so much fun right now with the MFing car.

Update
So far the dealer said they will have to replace the flywheel...Think im going to get a new tranny/clutch?

 

I had the same problem, it was the clutch. Flywheel was marred up a little bit so I went ahead and changed it out at the sametime.
