Nismo Clutch and Flywheel installed

Just had a Nismo clutch, flywheel, and SS clutch line installed. Pedal feel is pretty close to stock, more feedback from the pedal now feels a ton better. Clutch grabs nice and feels good. Flywheel is pretty close to stock but a bit louder...car revs a bit better but is very driveable. For a daily driver this is a great setup! I'll post more when i have more time on it.

Good to know. I've been holding off because I changed my mind about the NISMO flywheel. I think I'm going to order a new OEM dual-mass and pair it with the NISMO clutch, etc that I've had sitting here forever and probably put the NISMO flywheel up for grabs.

chatter isn't bad at all (almost non existent really), and honestly i like the way the engine responds much better now...GT-Ron I would think twice about not doing the Nismo flywheel a little extra noise (and i do mean a little) is worth the performance gains.

I've read reviews that range from your's (almost non-existent) to the NISMO being one of the loudest aftermarket flywheels. Either installation can play a big part, or the noise is just a very subjective observation. But the consensus seems to be that it's louder than the JWT, which is probably a bit too loud for me under the cirumstances. I drive with my windows open most of the time, and I notice the OEM flywheel chatter increasing, so I'm likely to really hear an aftermarket one. I'm currently at about 5600 miles on my '05, but those are city miles with a lot of clutching.

Knowing that I might trade-in within a year or so, I'd like to keep the chatter at no more than the OEM level. I'm also very curious to see how the NISMO clutch, OEM flywheel, ss-clutch line and NISMO bearing combo works. I'm pretty much fine with the stock set-up, other than engagement point and the fact that it's pretty weak.

If you could get some good audio/video of it, that would begreatly appreciated by more than just me, I'm certain. Update us on how it is as you accumulate some miles as well.

My new OEM flywheel is going to arrive on Tuesday, so I'm extremely close to installation. While I've pretty well made up my mind at this point, based on research and reviews, I'd still appreciate the video. Having the conflicting posts pop up is why I've procrastinated on this for so long.

Hey, that's the same set-up that I was thinking about going with..... if you get yours installed.......let me know how it works out.... I'm like you when it comes to the Nismo flywheel chatter......I would rather not hear it.....if I was to ever trade the car in....

I'll likely drop it off at the shop on Friday (next...the 27th) and let them work on it over the weekend.

GT-ron--I hope everything works out for you--I am trying to find the right clutch and flywheel combo as well--but have chosen an integrated clutch and flywheel setup. Keep us posted bro!
