lately my car has been grinding 1-2 a lot and i was wondering have any of you had problems with the dealer replacing the tranny under warranty..? My car only has 34k and I was just a bit worried and wanted to get some responses from people that have already had a tranny issue. I searched the other posts about some people going through 2-3 trannies......

you should be under warranty, the transmission should be covered under warranty within the 5yrs powertrain warranty. someone will correct if i'm wrong

 

I just went to the dealer today, and if you can show them consistently how it grinds - it will be covered under the powertrain warranty. Check out my post:

your right except its 5 years 80k warranty =D

 

I just talked to Infiniti to find out when my powertrain warranty expires. They told me it's 6 years/70,000 miles from when the car was purchased.
