Question Braided Stainless Clutch Line users - ?

*This ties into my clutch thread, but I really wanted a specific thread/response to deal with this specific issue, which may itself be my 'clutch problem'. If so, finding this under a "clutch line" search may be of some help to others down the line.*

Did any of you that installed one of the braided stainless clutch lines have issues with reduced pedal-return pressure afterward? Or did your shop mention anything about it being a PITA to bleed the system completely?

SGP indicated that they have encountered this issue with the clutch-line swap and bleeding the system numerous times will solve it. I'm curious to see if others encountered it as well. If so, were you able to eventually get the bubbles out of the system and get a full return of pedal pressure at the top of it's travel?

Update for future searches:

Repeated bleeding of the system eventually corrected the problem.

had one put on my G, came with the JWT clutch. My mechanic said nothing to me about any of this and I have not experience a pedal-return issue either.
Course Im still breaking it in..@420 miles or so now.

No, it would have been noticeable immediately. Perhaps your guy didn't enounter the issue or he simply bled to the system until it was corrected.

Just a heads-up for those doing the mod in the future. Pass it along to your installer, if not doing it yourself.
