Grinding noise from 1st gear to 2nd gear

I have an automatic 06 coupe with 19k miles. I've recently noticed that first thing in the morning there is a quick grinding noise after i leave the driveway and the car is shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Likewise, after the car has been sitting all day at work in a parking garage I hear the same noise as soon as I leave and when the car is shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. I can't seem to duplicate the noise at any other time, but it happens like clockwork as referenced above.

Any ideas as to what the problem might be? I bought the car used with around 17k miles and I'm planning on taking it to the dealership to check it out.

obvious things: Transmission fluid ever serviced ? If so, what did they put back in? Did they put enough? Do you have a copy of the service record? If you bought it used, call Infiniti NA and ask them if this thing has ever been serviced

I do all my maintenance after some nightmares I went through with Nissan (which included putting differential fluid in my 6mt. Wouldn't shift out of 1st gear after that)
