AT check light flashing (14 times?)
Hi everyone,
slowly going out of my mind here...
...in Australia...
My Japanese V35 300GT 5AT is having a little issue right now.
After about half an hour driving and on a restart there is only ONE gear, as in I place it in D and it will rev to redline if I let it, never changing. If I stop, restart all is well till it feels the need to play up.
On a restart the AT CHECK light flashes for about 14 times..
Any ideas? I have already done the battery disconnect ECU reset and also the timed method to no avail.
cheers

the tranny is in fail safe mode. either a sensor is bad. or the sensor is reading something messed up. check the service manual for all the things that might have gone wrong - or take in to the dealer.
have you been flushing the ATF fluid every 2 yrs/30k miles as recommended?

Thanks for that. Yes I went to NISSAN dealer and they plugged in the Diagnostic tool then printed off and cleared the errors.
It ran fine till it went into limp home again about 30 mins later.
Do you think its got big problems?
The AT fluid has been flushed recently to try to fix the problem...
