6th gear shakes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 2004 G35 coupe and I noticed that recently my shift **** is shaking alot when I am in 6th gear going over 70 mph. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, i feel like there is a thump underneath my seat that happens every time i'm in 6th gear over 70 mph.

anyone know what this could be?

thanks

Mine was shaking a lot when in 5th but only while accelerating and above 100 miles. Car had ~30K at that time. It became quiet and calm again after transmission fluid flush.

its a '04 with only 16K miles on it. could the tranny mount cause that thump as well? and is that covered in the warranty??

thanks
