Yes

rebuilt by SFR or SGP

MANY valve bodies (faster/firmer shifts) by SGP, Stillen, Level 10, or the one Ma_Sha got

Torque Converters with different stalls (higher etc) by SGP, and a few other companies. . .

complete manual swaps. LOL

Oh, and a bunch of supporting mods: trans temp gauges, trans coolers, etc.

Part numbers and prices

Well, I am going to have an upside down of $3000 plus the taxes I am going to have to pay again. I have been looking in junkers and they sell used MTs for around 1500.00. I am still looking for the other items and their part numbers I need to buy. I am also looking for someone down here in south florida that will be able to do it. If I can get the parts at a good price and sell my AT, it might be worthy. If not, I will just trade it in as I was planning to do originally.

GTM can do a MT / AT swap - look for their post at my350z.com.

GTM and SGP have full tranny upgrades for high hp (600 whp+).

GTM and SGP have valve body and torque converter upgrades for moderate horsepower (up to 400-450?).

Tranny cooler and tranny filter always a good idea considering the low cost.

The search function on this site is crappy because you cannot search for 3 letter words.

On my350z.com, you can. I would go there, put in GTM or SGP and "valve" or "valve and body" and select "boolean" search and you will get a long list of stuff. Also try "tran and cooler".

I actually bought my cooler from summit racing. Both GTM and SGP have websites - just google them. I went through ForgedPerformance.com (Sharif) who actually arranged the work to be done.

I don't think our transmission has a filter...that is what the nissan dealership told me.

it is actually a metal mesh screen which works like a filter. it only needs replacement if it tears. it is a good idea to clean it up with brake cleaner if you do drop the pan.

No I added a real tranny filter inline, after the cooler (magnefine brand).
