Exclamation Problem with tranny and coolant

Today I noticed a weird jerky feeling driving my car. It felt like my transmission was shifting harder than before. I parked the my coupe on the sidewalk and noticed that my front lip on the passenger side was dripping some brown fluid. I checked the fluid and it didn't look like tranny fluid, but rather looks like coolant. As I opened my hood to see what was going on, I noticed that my coolant reservoir had brown fluid on the top and that it was all in my lower side engine bay and under tray plastic covering. I let the car sit for an hour and it stopped dripping. I noticed the coolant reservoir was overflooded with a big layer of what looks like brown coolant, and a lower later of green coolant. I will be taking my car tomorrow to the dealership to have it checked out, but I want to know what is going on, if anyone had this problem as well? Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Doesn't sound good at all. I'd be worried about a headgasket issue (combustion gases getting into the coolant). Get it checked out and keep your fingers crossed. How was the oil leve?

If it's easy to remove your nitrous setup, you may want to consider that. If you don't want to do that, you may want to have a performance shop check it out first before you go to the dealer and your warranty gets voided.

Assuming the car is an automatic, it's possible the trans cooler inside the radiator blew....

hey good thought given the symptoms - that would be a really good outcome (relatively cheap fix). wouldn't drive it too long with coolant inside the tranny!!!
