i would definitely check the oil, and make sure you arent low..... mine has made no noise at all since the oil change
the ''axle click'' only happens on acceleration and deceleration. i get a chatter from the clutch/tranny area after the car is turned off, ive heard it's the throw out bearing rattling around and i seem to concur with that judgement. but everything runs and shifts fine so im not too worried.

I had some chattering noise in my 07 G35 6mt. I could feel it & hear it best at idle with the AC on low. I noticed it the most when first beginning to engage the clutch. Took it to the dealer and found out it was the dual mass flywheel. Apparently, something between the flywheel was warped and they had to replace. They said it happens sometimes. I had the car back 3 days later.
reviving a dead thread I know but didn't want to start a new one. So I'm not sure if I have this issue or not. My issue is a clicking/rattling sound in 3-5 gear, and a shaking in 2nd. It happens with clutch in and out and only over 35MPH. I have no idea what this is. took it in to dealer a few weeks back, couldn't reproduce it. It's an intermitent problem. I know if I go to take it in again it won't do it so i need to figure it out so I can tell them what to fix. Would changing tranny fluid help at all?
