So today for the second time in about a week my transmission has got "confused." I have a 03 Coupe with the 5AT transmission. Today I was pulling into a parking space and I wasn't quite in my spot, so I put the car into reverse, straightened out, and then put the car into drive, as I let off the brake, the car began to roll backwards, the parking spot was on a slight incline so I gave it a little gas to move forward and when I did, the car jerked backwards. I looked down and I was in Drive. I put the car in park, then shifted to Drive, and it went forward. Has anyone heard of this happening before? Its never happened before and all of a sudden it has twice in the last week.
