neutral sensor

neutral sensor

hey would any one know if a netural position sensor or switch not really sure what its called but my car wont start and it does not show any gears on the display. it does not even try to crank or anything just silent when i turn the key to start it. i already tried to reset the ecu that did not do anything. does anyone have any ideas?

a bad neutral safety switch can definetely keep the car from cranking. mine went back in my old altima and i could only start it neutral then it would let me shift out of the gears. here is a breakdown fyi: check the right side of the page
