ACtually, I think they should have put the new tranny in, verified that the car works properly, THEN modified the new tranny's valve body. IMHO, by doing all this stuff all at once, they've introduced way to many variables to diagnose your original problem

Did you get the full built tranny? Or did you get another OEM tranny, and then put a vb in that>?

Did you contact Thomas over at SGP? I would ask for him specifically and reference this thread. Maybe they are just super busy... (it's no excuse and not defending them)

What is the car doing? How can a crank angle sensor mess up shifting? I was having a crank angle position sensor problem last summer, but it had nothing to do with the tranny. Maybe explain what your car is doing?

Sounds like what mine did last summer, except it wouldn't go past 2500rpm. Read this thread:

It might not be the actual sensor, it might be the wiring. Did you read the thread I posted?
