Question Help.

This morning I went to warm up the car. Upon start up all lights on the dash seemed fine. Then when I began to drive it a few lights went on, brake, slip, vdc off, and [!]tps. I ran it for about half a mile until i pulled over and turned the car of for a minute. I turned the car back on and the lights were still there. I drove the car for a good 2 miles or so with those lights still lit up. There's no CEL light lit up, just those 4 lights. I have an 04 5AT coupe w/ almost 82k. Anyone have an idea why this happend? Thanks

-tito

MY mitsu did a similar thing and it was a loose battery ground. Grand Cherokee did something like this too, check engine and another light cause the gas cap wasn't on all the way.

Check your brake fluid level. Or you pads could be worn out, lowering the brake level in your master cylinder

I changed my front pads not too long ago, you think it may be sensing the rears?

I'm thinking it's the fluid or its sensing the rears.. the brake light only turns on when the hand brake is pressed, and i think that's located in the rears? the VDC is also in the rear.. so i'm assuming it's the rear that's causing these lights to light up. I also changed out my brake pads not too long ago. but it was only the fronts, just like you did..
