Manual Tranny Fluid & Differential Fluid?

I've done searches and came up with multiple responses and recommendations. I am looking to change my tranny fluid and differential fluid as well. I want to use the OEM fluids. Can anyone point in the right direction as to which fluids to use, how much I will need of each, and where to find them? Thanks in advance.

I had the same question too, my only plan was, don't do it my self, just send it to a shop and have them do it, it doesn't cost that much, that way if ever any problems so you also have someone to blame.

the manual dictates which fluid to use in each application. diff is GL-5, tranny is GL-4, both 75-90 or 80-90. a dealer will have both fluids in stock if you want oem fluid...

The rear differential fluid is easier to change than your engine oil.

I just did this a few days ago. I used 2qts of Redline 75w90 for the diff and mixed 2qts of Redline MTL and 2qts of Redline MT90 for the transmisson. It took about 20 minutes to do on a lift. Very easy!

I did mine myself and it is easier than changing engine oil. I got my fluids from the dealership just so if there were problems Infiniti couldn't say I put the wrong stuff in.

Use 75W-85 from the dealership for the manual transmission. 6.1 pts (3.05 quarts) is required. For the rear differential, I'd use any over-the-counter 75W90 synthetic gear lube. That one takes 3 pints (1.5 quarts).
