Clutch Sound

I'm not a clutch expert and don't really know much about G clutches. When let off of the clutch at idle I hear something that has to be the clutch. When I had my 72 Toyota Land Cruiser I could see that when I let off the clutch and let the engine idle the flywheel would spin until I engaged the clutch again. Does everyone else have a noticeable sound when letting off their clutch? I can't really explain the sound but i'm not sure if this is normal.

Not the "can't find it then grind it" concept but a noise like something is spinning. When i'm sitting at a traffic light with the clutch pedal pressed I hear nothing but the engine idling and when I let the pedal go there's a noise that I think would be abnormal. This is all while at a stop.

It sounds like a very low jet plane engine or vaccum sound. the G's/Z's are notorious for having "clutch rattle". It's a common problem for us 6mt owners. Very scary at first but you get used to it.

Yep...that's the sound. I thought it might be a warped flywheel or something. It sounds like crap when you let off the clutch pedal.

It's the throwout bearing. Very common I have the same sound at idle when the clutch is not depressed.

Throwout bearing. I've had that sound since the car was brand new.

I hear the same sound. I have a '04 6MT. At idle, clutch not depressed, I hear a very soft clicking sound. It is not even though. So this is normal? Is it hurting any part of the car?

After market clutch sound

Hi, I just recently change my clutch to a ACT clutch /Alum Flywheel and well its doing a radling sound on first and second.. my mechanic said its normal.. also the dealer said the same thing I also called Stillen, which is the place where i bought it from.. and they also said it was normal, now my question is.. is it possible to lower the sound? or get rid of it? without having to change the flywheel to the stock one?
can you help me please

Nothing sounds abnormal to me. The G35 has a loud tranny. The Flywheel & throw-out bearing noises will be noticeable.
