Clutch Problem - Help

(i drive an 07 6mt coupe)

So im driving like normal today and as im going from 1st to 2nd my clutch pedal gets stuck half way. I managed to get it back up but now the first half of the way down there is no resistance when I press on it. Its as if the clutch pedal does not do anything until i press halfway down when it finally give resistance again. It will also get stuck again every once in a while

Any one have any idea what happened?

BTW i know how to drive manual so its nothing on my part

take it to the dealer...even though the clutch itself is a wear and tear part, the assembly isn't or shouldn't be.

Clutch master, slave or line leaks... it's an 07, call Infiniti and have it trailered in for warranty repair.

Can I guess that you were driving a little "spirited" when this happened? Exact same thing has happened to me and others as well. It will get back to normal pretty quickly if it behaves the way mine did. The clutch on our cars sometimes does this. If you do a search on this site you will find several people who had the same thing happen. When it happened to my car, the car was only a couple months old, so it was not an old clutch fluid thing, and the clutch has never felt spongy, so I don't believe it's a fluid bleed issue either. Oh, my car is almost 3 years old now, clutch is fine, and it hasn't happened again since the first time.

Change the fluid like this :

http://www.rangeracceleration.com/Clutch_Care.html

there's also a thread about clutch sticking and burning on this forum that contains this information, some pics from someone who did it on their G, and posts from "Ranger" about it (the guy owns an FX45 as well as his vette!)
