6MT Shift linkage rattle and sticky gears
Not sure if this is a common prob, but my 05 6MT seems to have a problem with noisy linkage rattle thats really noticable at low speed under load and the shifting has become notchy and sticky. On colder mornings it can be hard to get the car into 1st gear or reverse.
What can I do to solve the rattle? New bushings maybe?
Is the stickiness of the gears an internal transmission prob?

hey i had the exact same problem with my transmission. turns out my throw-out bearing was going to ****s, good note was that we have a factory powertrain warranty for 6 years 100k. so i took it to my infiniti dealership and they replaced a whole new transmission. took em about 4 -6 hours.
on the bad note. after getting my car back my 5th and 6th gears are even worse. and they took out my after market clutch/flywheel not sure what kind it came with the car and replaced it with oem parts. which sucks cuz the clutch is not super weakkk and gay i feel like my car is slower now. lol but yea thats my experience with it so far. im gonna bring it back to them this week and see what thye can do about it cuz the rattle is still there. hope this helped =]
