chattering noise

i have a 03 g35 coupe 6mt and ive noticed since ive bought it that when at a high rpm there is a chattering noise coming from transmission, it is really loud in the first three gears when you get at or above about 4 thousand rpm. ive read some chattering forums but everybody was talking about aftermarket clutches and flywheels, and as far as i know it is the stock clutch and flywheel in it. i bought it used , but the the person that owned it before me was an older lady so i really dont think it has any aftermarket on it. it just turned over 40,000 miles, so is there something wrong that i need to take it in or is it normal. plz help me.
