Putting gl-6 in the tranny good or bad???

Hi,

I own a 2006 G coupe M6 and i'm looking to change my oil in the tranny.

I have some pretty good deal on the torco oil and i was wondering can i put some GL-6 75w90 100% synthetic in my transmission.

I spoke with 2 mechanic (not working at infiniti) and they told me it should be fine but i've read somewhere in this forum that GL-5 will eat the tranny (i dont understand since GL-5 is suppose to give more protection than GL-4)

Can somebody help me please.

Thanks
