anyone make a light weight drive shaft?
This is my first RD car I get to tune up. My 73 super beetle doesn't count . I liked that car but I think I pushed it more then I drove it.
Does anyone make a light weight drive shaft for the coupe? I'm guessing this will make a lot of difference. Better response, more hp to the wheel, better gas millage.

I was kind of wondering about this too. You might be able to get a custom one made by a shop (I found many shops online that specialize in drive shaft fabrication... Even Carbon Fiber shafts) Let us know if you find anything.. =)

The Coupe in 6MT already USES a carbon drive shaft.

Hmm. maybe you are right.. When I asked my dealer, they said yes. But I cannot confirm that. The 350Z uses it. I asked my dealer because I wanted to know the difference of the 2 cars.

Re: anyone make a light weight drive shaft?
i looked at my post and noticed that i may have come off as a know-it-all *****. my apologies. only the track model of the Z has the CF driveshaft. i really think that that is where the additional HP to the wheels comes from. less rotational mas, ya know.
You have been weighed.....You have been measured.....and you have been found WANTING!!!
