Try a different dealer. Mine did the same thing, and told me mine wasn't under the right VIN number. They still fixed it for free anyway.

did you call or just go to a dealer and ask there ? i made an appointment knowing ill be a no show

i have 71k miles, and i cant work on my car where i live

I just showed up around 7am and asked them to fix it. They fixed it under 30 minutes for free. Even with all my heavy mods.

ahhah same here anywhere, since im probly just a stock G :P who knows they might not know bc of my skyline emblem

but i dont think i can afford to drive down to las vegas since im 250 miles away or so.

lol .. jus go and be like i have a clicking sound from the rear.. dnt talk about price. jus act polite. they will bring the car in prob find the noise either fix it or tell u how much to fix it no biggie. u dont have to pay jus cause u went. shi7 theres people that just go in and get it fixed knowing the price and just leave so just go test you luck

im at the dealership right now , they want almost 300 to fix the clicking . Also suggested getting a $800 service pack for cars at 70k miles

well if they follow the TSB and ur not under warranty for it sounds about right kinda. drop the axles completly clean them put the new bolts in and grease it. do it my way u can do it in ur drive way, get a big 32mm socket nice size bar and ur on your way and sum PBC grease or w.e

its just your ears that car really lol. maximas, Z, murano, quests, basically all models have it sum get it some dont and some have been driving for 100k+ with it they just dont care if you dont really wanna blow the money on it dont worry about it. or bring it to a buddy's house wit a drive way 8-)

how long will the fix last?

I just got this axel click repair performed today at the dealer under warranty, for free. What im wondering is, how long with the fix last? will it come back after my warranty runs out?

Has anyone had the repair done and then had the problem reoccur?
