Jammed shift fork???

I have a 2003 G35 6mt. I was on the interstate today and when I shifted into 5th it made a metal clunking noise. After I pulled it out and attempted to put it back in 5th it would not go, and when i tried it one more time it went into 5th and now will not come out. The shifter feels like it's in neutral but I cannot shift into any other gears and so I drove the car home in 5th gear and parked it.

From my experience this sounds like a jammed 5/6 fork, but has anyone else experienced something similar???

I will probably call Nissan tomorrow morning to see what they think as well.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

If it's still in gear and feels like it's in neutral check the shifter......maybe it's broken ?
