Does the 5AT automatically downshift in manumatic mode?

yeah Jake brake/exhaust brake... same difference in concept... all with out even hitting the actual brakes


the auto tranny wont let you down shift if the RMPs or speed is too high.

Brakes are cheaper than transmissions but that's just my opinion
