Re: manumatic question?

no, but it requires more attention to shifting and it's actually slower. do a seach on 1.4 mi times and you'll see the car's computer works better than our bodies!

Re: manumatic question?

I really like MM when cornering hard.
In AM I hate when the computer shifts before the apex.

Re: manumatic question?

The problem with MM is the delay. It's not instant like a MT.
You have to shift a second or so earlier than when you actually want to hit the next gear.

"i feel alot more power in manumatic. especially in 2nd gear"

That's only because when in manumatic you are staying in the power band of the gear for a longer amount of time. In full auto mode the car would have probably shifted up already earlier. Don't think that manumatic mode generates more horsepower because it doesn't.

Re: manumatic question?

I don't know man.. you drive 6MT... and even in D mode it shifts at redline on my coupe...
so far, kahboom and i noticed in MM mode, there's more air sucking pshhhh sound after z-tube and k&n filter mod where pshh sound disappear in D mode... i'm not saying we get more hp in MM mode, but somehow, mysteriously, especially in upper rpm range there's more kick in MM mode than D mode... could it be just my imagination? maybe... but do i feel more power in MM mode? yes

anyway, I noticed few new things today...
when I leave in D mode, exhaust tone is louder than MM(between 2-3k rpm) and also i feel more low end tq(2-3krpm) but after 3k rpm, MM mode pulls much harder... however if i put it in MM mode, somehow rpm climbs a lot quicker than D mode(i'm 100% sure i pressed gas same pressure as D mode), but less low end tq(between 2-3k rpm), less exhaust tone(between 2-3krpm), but upper range(4k-6600rpm) is a lot stronger and louder engine sound than D mode... anyone else notice this?

Re: manumatic question?

The Z-tube is just a replacement tube between your Popcharger and the engine. People (including me) like the Z-tube since it gives the car a nice growl over 4k RPM. It also improves the air flow some over the stock tube.

Its called the Z-tube since its the same tube used on the 350Z. Its absolutely worth the $75 or so everyone charges.
