I paid around $12 per quart of J-Matic tranny fluid from Nissan from my last tranny fluid service job, so your quote sounds about right.

If you want to save some money, try going to your local Nissan dealer website and search for coupons in the parts dept. That's what I did last time, I found a 5% off coupon I could use for the tranny fluid purchase.

trust me.. you'll save AT LEAST $10 on 4 bottles..
and you can order other items like power steering fluid, brake fluid, air filter, O-rings.. you'll end up saving at least $20.

Yeah man, $12 is about right from Nissan. One benefit is, assuming your warranty is still good, Nissan won't maintain the warranty (as far as I've been told by others) unless it's Nissan tranny fluid.

wow 7.50 is still a better deal.

I just bought 6 bottles from my nismo.com and it cost 45 + 4 tax + 10 shipping = 59 SHIPPED. This is still a lot cheaper then I can get from at my local dealer (I can get it for 10/bottle + tax) and it comes out to be 60 + tax = ~$65.

How many J-matic does it take to re-fill a tranny flush? I believe it was 6 but I wasnt sure.... getting old
