Clutch noise during cold start up

On cold mornings or when i haven't driven it for a few days, my '03 6MT makes a LOUD moaning, grinding noise at start up. I can feel vibration in the clutch pedal. The noise and the vibration go away when i let the clutch out. I can alter the pitch of the noise by varying the position of the clutch pedal.

At first it would do this every once in a while, but now it has become more frequent. It ONLY happens when the car is cold or hasn't been driven for a few days. It never happens on subsequent starts once it's warmed up!?!?!?!

Anyone else experiencing this or know what could be causing it??

The nissan clutches are notorious for being noisy...chances are you're fine. Mine has made concerning noises (chatter, grinding, you name it) since the day I drove it off the lot...I'm at 45k now and nothing has changed.
