Throw Out Bearing, Lube?

Hey guys, My clutch has been squeaking a little recently. Thought it was the throw out bearing, and after a few minutes on the forum, pretty sure im right.

Thing is I really don't want to replace the whole clutch it because it still grips strong, so disassembling everything doesn't seem smart for such a small part.

I know I will probably have to replace the whole clutch in like 10k miles or so, but im looking for a quick fix for now.

My question is if lubing the bearing (white lithium grease?) would work to stop the squeak. And if there is any way of getting to the bearing without tearing everything apart, or if there is any easier way.

I would appriciate any ideas

-Thanks Alot Guys

Unfortunately you have to remove the trans to lube the bearing and you just cant lube the bearing as it's a sealed bearing.

my throwout bearing is done too... just sucks, going to have to live with it for a long time before my clutch dies because mine grabs the gear strong too so i dont want to just take it all apart to lube the throwout bearing

i am having the same problem... took it to the dealer because this should be a warranty item, and they tried to tell me that the whole clutch needs replacing (pretty sure it does not, no slipping whatsoever and grabs great). I argued this will the service manager, and he said that they would open it up and replace it, but if the problem persists after replacement they would charge me full labor for that and also to replace the actual clutch... not a gamble i was willing to take. I guess i will live witht he problem until i need to replace the clutch, only at 38K right now. Is this right? Should I call another dealer to see if they will replace under warranty?
