Question Throw-out bearing chattering...

I bought my car used 3 days ago and when i was inspecting it, it did not have the chattering noise and everything else was fine.clutch was perfect like its supposed to be and getting in gears was perfect and no problem. after i inspected the vehicle pretty good i took it for a test drive and i didn't hear the noise at all. All in all i inspected and drove away.i was driving for about an hour and stopped to get gas and realized then that the throwout bearing was chattering......fml......i didnt know what that noise was until i got it checked out by my cousin that works at infiniti and they found out that it was the bearing coming from the opposite side of the clutch and almost directly under the shifter.I was wondering are there and clutches that are pretty decent and dont make the chattering noise?i will also change out the bearing and try a aftermarket clutch. Ive always wanted this car and im about to be 17 and i payed for it with all my money up front. I love it and i dont want to sell it and im trying to figure out the best option for me to do with my car.thanks.

If the noise is coming from the bearing then it isn't the result of the clutch. It sounds like you need to simply replace your TOB which will wear over time and need to be replaced anyway.

try this, at 53000 miles I thought I would be doing something good by changing the gear oil......I drained and installed AMSOIL syn. immediately it was obvious at least on my car that this stuff was so slippery that I could BEAT the synchromesh and crash the gears...I removed it immediatly and put in MOBIL syn....it did the trick, no more problem

Slim: My car is at 50500 miles and the guy that previously owned it had an oil change and has been using mobil syn. I'll probably getting all my fluids changed and go from there.
