Clutch chatter

Hey everyone, I'm a pretty new member to this forum and I had acouple questions about my car. I have a 03 coupe 6mt and I have acouple issues with it. When the car is running you can hear a pretty loud chatter when there is no friction on the clutch. But the second you push in the clutch the chatter goes away. Any ideas on whats going on and how to fix it? Thanks for everyone's help.

not to worry, this is one noisy transmission. IMO, it's the worst tranmission I've driven. The good news is...it's normal. Do a search and you'll see what i mean.

its actually the dual mass flywheel as well. If you notice you drive it and park the care put it in neautral and release te clutch it sound sliek a loud rattle then you turn it off and it almost sound sliek it diesels.....The dual mass flywheel is just vibrating. it is very normal! Both my 2006's do it.

on my old 03 tiburon v6, same thing, fidanza flywheel, centerforce clutch, made chatter sound when in neutral/clutch disengaged. once clutch is applied it would go away.

researched the crap out of it, every mechanic / expert i asked, all said it's perfectly normal.
