Just replaced clutch now it won't release!
I work at a Chevy dealership here in Aurora, CO. I bought the G here and needless to say I'm a young idiot and burned up my clutch already! No prob right? Oh wait I'm not familiar with clutches at ALL until today. Found someone to turn the DMF and ordered a stock Exedy clutch kit for now since I'm low on funds. Originally we didnt crack any fluid lines open, just removed the slave and set it off to the side. Installed new pilot bearing and bushing and then the DMF and disc and newpressure plate. Now when I get in and push the clutch pedal it shoots to the floor with just a little resistance right before the floor. When I take my foot off the pedal comes back just a tiny bit but does not return fully up. In neutral the tires spin a little bit but the transmission won't go into gear when I push the pedal. Any suggestions. Oh and to any DIYers this tranny is SUPER easy to remove just have a friend around in case you need a hand. Second go 'round only took 45 mins to remove!
