LISTEN: the clutch disc is included with the new updated tranny. your old disc is not compatible so Infiniti includes a new one with the new tranny for warranty replacements. DO NOT let a dealer charge you for a new clutch disc. i think i've posted this in at least 10 threads about the same topic.

i had my tranny replaced under warranty last year. i asked the dealer to inspect my clutch disc, flywheel, TOB, etc.. and report to me if anything looked worn (where i would authorize them to replace with $0 labour once tranny was out). they phoned the next day saying that the clutch disc is NO CHARGE and included with all warranty tranny replacements. they also told me that after inspection all the clutch kit components looked fine and did not need to be replaced. they did try to sell me on a new flywheel - which i said "no thanks" to since the oem unit is $1300+.
