New Clutch Install Problems

I've replaced my clutch with the JWT clutch/flywheel combo. The kit came with the steel clutch line replacement. I've installed all parts and now have no clutch petal pressure. I have gone through four bottles of fluid bleeding the line. So I replaced the slave cylinder. Still no pressure. I then replaced the master cylinder. Still no pressure. I've bled clutch lines and brake lines before and am familar with the process. I searched through the forum which is why I thought slave cylinder would be the solution. Any thoughts??

Check over on My350Z, I remember there being some other issue that can come up when you replace that line causing your problem.

When you find out what it is, it would really be great if you could post it up.

In the mean time, I'll see what else I can find.

FIXED!! I check the thread on the my350z forums mentioned above and found that the JWT flywheel is much thinner than the OEM. It took a massive amount of petal adjustment to raise the engagment point from the floor. Everythings working great now. It kills me that it was so simple. Shifting is smooth as butter. Thanks ttrank and InTgr8r for the help. I can honestly say I know the G35 clutch assembly very well. I reversed engineered it 6 times. Hope this thread helps the next JWT clutch problem search.

Awesome! Glad you were able to find the problem.

I have had one of these lines sitting around for over a year and afraid to put it on because of the horror stories I have heard about bleeding the line. This gives me a little more confidence.

perhaps some odd difference between the 04 and the 06.... the JWT was designed on the earlier model G's and Z's. Yes, I know I'm reaching, but it's a thought.
