Damaged transfer case?

I have an 04 auto coupe. I went over a hump tonight and my car jumped. As far as I know or could tell, nothing hit the bottom. After that, I started hearing this scraping noise under my car. I only hear the noise when I gas it, not when I'm in park. My friend says that I probably damaged the transfer case and I was just wondering how much would it cost to repair it? Or would I have to buy another one for $800-900? Im going to take it to a shop first thing tomorrow but Id just want to know before hand. Ill keep the thread updated with quotes and any more info, but any feedback from you guys is greatly appreciated.

i dont think you have a transfer case, since you is a RWD car. transfer cases are in AWD used to send power to the front wheels.

cant really help you because ANYTHING could of happen. maybe you just snagged something.
