JWT Clutch installed / Drive Shaft U-Joints seized
Alright lets begin with the clutch.. I installed JWT Clutch + Flywheel Combo, Ive been driving it for about 500km.. And I tried shifting it to chirp second gear it just kinda jerked and seemed like the VDC was on which it wasnt.. The shifting / Pedal feals great and stuff but how the **** can't i chirp second gear with this clutch! I mean i was chirping 4th gear in my dad's G!
Im wondering if it has anything to do with my 20inch rims / Wide tires (275/30/20) or what.. VDC On or Off there isnt any difference it seems like when I shift theres a bit of a delay before the power gets to the wheels.. I did install a stainless steel clutch line cuz I figured there would probably be more hydraulic pressure in the line due to the more agressive setup. However installing the clutch got rid of the weird decelerating vibration in the shifter and shifting is a lot smoother.. well going thru the gears is.. Any suggestions on the VDC thing?
Second.. the drive shaft.. I had a vibration coming from the middle/rear of the car for a while before / after I installed my rims.. I knew it wasnt the rims that werent balanced because i could definitely feel something in the transmission when holding the shifter back at the vibrating speed.. Thankfully my extended warranty is covering it
YAY!
Also Motordyne Exhaust on the way + 5/16 spacer, Im counter plating between FI HFCS and Berk Technology HFCS.. Can't wait tu put it on!
