Possible Tranny Issue

I have searched and searched but to be honest I don't even know what words really to use to help find the problem. The closest thing I can find might be a recall, but I will describe the problem and see what you guys think. It only happens sometimes but when it does the transmission shakes bad enough that the whole car will shake. It has done it since I bought the car used a few months ago (06 coupe auto 50000 miles on it) It has gotten progessively worse. It happens the worse at around 40 (which made me think of a recall I have seen some where on here) but it happens also at 50, 60, 70, 80 ,etc. I think the car is in 5th gear each time it does it but not sure. It only happens when it is in auto mode and not manual mode. It can be doing it really bad and I just move the shifter over and it stops. Any ideas? Valvebody, clutch packs, etc??? Not sure if it is worth spending money on someone trying to find a problem when I plan on getting a new built transmission down the road. I really appreciate the help anyone can give me on this one.

Thats the recall notice I saw. I wasn't sure since it happens at different speed limits. Plus I am sure I will have to battle the dealership on the fact that my car has modifications.

Take the mods off and see what happens. Then take the car to the dealer with no mods on it. Its not safe for the car to be shaking at those speeds I would get it looked at right away.

Bump for a quick question for you guys. Anyone know if it will eventually cause the transmission to go or is it more on an annoying glitch that is harmless? It doesn't do it as much lately, so I am wondering about spending the money on something else instead. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome of course.

Well I had the day off today so I took my car to the dealership. I am scheduled to have it dropped off on Monday and they said it would only take a couple of hours??? Thought it would take longer than that but oh well. I am curious to see if I get a call once they get my car and discover modifications done to it or if they will replace the valve body. Just have to wait and see I guess.

UPDATE:

Just got my car back from Infiniti and runs alot better. Had no problems with all the mods I had done. They were really nice and were surprised about the valve body. Said it was the first coupe he had seen with it in the 4 years he worked there. They also did a multipoint inspection probably to try and sell me service work but I declined the rear brake job. I told them that now I have an excuse to upgrade my brakes now
