Re: NISMO SHIFT ****

Hey Pesti

with the razo you push the whole **** down in order to select your gear. Rumble has this one and it works great and is a little lower than the original shift ****.

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****

i bought a vibrant **** at performance imporovements $59 and it looks just like the momo. btw best i could find on the momo was $150.

the vibrant is painted silver (perfect BS match) also comes in black, blue, and red. the momo looks to be polished aluminium,,,is it?

it is a little shorter than stock, just looks taller becasue it does not go lower on the shaft. i like the look better than the clunky stock kinob.

i would still like to lower it a bit (no hack saw work though). i smacked it into first when reaching to stop something from falling off the passenger seat. took off in first without knowing it untill the revs sounded a little high. is that 1+1/8 inch lower??

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****

Hi DaveG & Geobau

Dave - Best price I could get for the Momo Shift **** was $98 US. From a company in Vancouver. The Shifter is Polished Aluminium, but can be had covered with Blk leather.

Geobau, & DaveG - The **** can be lowered by removing the nylon cap piece on the shift lock shaft. (just pull up until it comes off) Reinstall shift **** in lower position.

I didn't have shift **** as low as it would go in the 1st pic, therefore I reinstalled it as low as I could in order to get the aprox. 1 1/8 in drop.

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****

my prices are Cdn. and the $150 was from someone in Barrie???? a mailorder neighbour???

so, with the cap piece removed, there is still enough protruding to be pushed down by the **** to enable shifting into park? is this the white nylon bit that sticks up?

i will take it apart for a closer look tonight

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****

no change in feel.

while in park i pushed it down against the spring a little to get it even lower.

that is as low as you can go because you need to get at the set screws before screwing on the chrome bit on the bottom

"F"DNameBrands,
your name wouldn't happen to be Francis, would it?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No, it's actually the name of the company I work for. I know I could’ve come up with a better screen name, but oh well.
Just curious, who is Francis?

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****

DaveG- That shift **** looks sweet- just one little tiny suggestion though- that sticker on your stereo that says "6 CD Disc Changer" comes off.... Ok- maybe you like it there.... but I think it looks better with out it...
