Is my clutch going? 05 coupe

2005 G35 coupe 6spd 39k miles. My clutch has "play" i basically can press it about 2 inches freely before i fell it "catch". Works perfectly, no sticking between gears whatsoever. Is there any adjustment to this or is it beginning to wear?

thanks

It sounds like you need to adjust your pedal (master cylinder, top and bottom triggers/pedal stop). This is a fairly easy process that can be found in the Factory Service Manual (I believe on page 15 in the MT section). If you want to give me a call I will be happy to talk you through this. Let me know. Thanks,
