Nismo shift ***** - how do they change the feel of shifting?
I really, really like the look of the nismo *****. This one in particular:
I generally hold the stock shifter like I would a **** anyway. Can anyone that has the nismo tell me how different it feels? What do you like and what do you not like about it?

You feel a lot more vibration from the tranny with this ****. That doesn't really affect it much since you shouldn't keep your hand on the **** when you aren't shifting. Shifts feel a lot shorter. Feels a lot sportier than the stock ****. Takes slightly more effort to shift because of less leverage. Summer sun gets this **** really hot and it hurts. I've been using this know for over a year and I'm happy with it. Occasionally I'll change to OEM for a couple days just to have something different.

OP,
If you dont like the oem shift ****, try g37 shift ****. Its oem weight, smaller, and more attractive looking.
true thing is the the knobb gets extremely hot in summer. I use a wrist band sometimes to shift or I suck it up and touch it bare hand.
I was thinking of selling mine and swapping to a G37 shift ****. 100.00 from Riverside Infiniti.
Overall its a good shift ****, looks great and stylish.

but a shorter shift **** does not shorten shifts. If anything just brings your hands closer the leather boot.

^ Or in other words, a shorter shift **** shortens the distance your hand travels from first to second, from second to third, vice versa.
I never liked the OEM shift **** just because it doesn't have a nice weight to it. I don't feel any more vibration than I would from the OEM ****, and on top of all I personally feel my throws have been much more precise.
Unfortunately, I don't have the Nismo ****. I have the Tommy Kaira 'Hebi Bebi', but I would presume some of the benefits are shared amongst high-end shift *****.

LightsOut, don't make me draw it out for you...
I have the same and absolutely love it. Much more comfy in my hands than any Nismo I've ever had. And with the short shifter I have, the ball shape is easier to use than the grip style shift *****.
