Arrow Experiences with Exedy OEM clutch?

Looking to get an OEM style clutch that offers smooth take up and a progressive grab. My G35 is stock powerwise, and I'll be putting in a resurfaced OEM flywheel.

Just don't want to buy a clutch and find out people have had issue with them or felt it was hard to drive smoothly.

I will be getting my car back today from my uncle. He just installed a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, and re-surfaced the flywheel. I will tell you how things go when I drive it. The Clutchmasters Stage 3 says it is very close to OEM feel.

exedy is oem and is what you have now. I suggest getting a new flywheel, maybe a lighter one. Exedy has a light flywheel and clutch package.

I don't want the NVH that goes with a lightweight flywheel. This is my daily driver, my S13 is faster than if my G had 500 rwhp, so being a little bit faster in lower gears isn't worth it if the car sounds like a can of marbles at idle.

I'm debating going with something with a little more clamping force now, since the stock clutch seems a bit borderline and doesn't exactly last that long(probably minor slipping at WOT).

I am personally using a SPEC Steel flywheel in my G35 Sedan and though there is a bit of resonance associated with the replacement of the dual-mass flywheel this unit has much less noise than what is associated with the aluminum units available. I have had the SPEC Super-Twin (two different variants for testing) and am now using the Stage 2+ and steel wheel and this assembly has far less audible evidence. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
