Hey guys im looking to put a heads and cam ls2 with the 6L80 tranny in the G. My only concern is the rear? Im not real up to date on nissan parts but im thinking it wouldnt last long with a 500+hp motor. Is there a good upgrade for the current rear or has anyone done a swap with a domestic rear? Im trying to figure out which route would be the best! Thanks in advance!

 

Leave it alone as it's plenty strong. There are plenty of people running 500whp+ in their Zs. The problem will be half-shafts, but since you're going to run an auto, the driveline shock is greatly reduced. Luckily changing out the half-shafts is terribly easy.
