ATF : This is the right stuff for an 05 G right?!

For some reason Amazon's system indicates this fluid doesn't work with the 2005 G35...

Amazon Amazon

Is this the proper fluid for the auto trans?

Thx

Yes, it is. You can also use Matic S as this replaces Matic J (Matic J is now discontinued).

Though I'd recommend using Amsoil ATF. I switched and it works great.

^^^ what would be the reason to switch? I'm willing to bet money no one would ever know which ATF is in their car just by driving it...

I use manufacturer recommended (especially until warranty runs out - which makes it manufacture "required")/

^^

The new Matic S is much better than the Matic-J

I see no reason to use an aftermarket ATF. Saving money is the main reason most people do it and most of them trash the trans in doing so. Using the AMSOIL ATF is gonna cost just as much

BTW, i got my local NISSAN dealership to price it down to $9/quart for the MATIC-S.

I honestly feel like the tranny is smoother. Maybe its just my head but I swear the way it shifts just feels a little smoother. It also is supposed to last longer than Matic S/J.
