clutch noise/vibrations
clutch noise/vibrations
hi rev to all gggg35 drivers, i have a problem. i just got my g 6mt coupe 2 days ago and while the the car is fun to drive , i have notice a rolling or gravely vibration when letting up of the clutch. did any one have this problem
Re: clutch noise/vibrations
I had a clutch problem after about 20,000 km. It was squeaking when pressing (and also when releasing) and felt like I was squishing a rubber ball.
The dealer replaced the pedal assy but problem got worse. They then replaced the clutch master cylinder piston assy -- noise gone and firmer feel.

Finally I think I found someone with the same problem I am having! I have an appointment with Infiniti on Tuesday and was just wondering if this was under warrantee? In my previous posts I mentioned that when I brought the car iinto Infiniti the first time, they tried to sucker me into getting a new clutch without even opening the car up. They said SOUNDS LIKE THE CLUTCH IS BURNED, $2K PLEASE! jk...
Anyways I decided to get another opinion from a few other shops. All of the shops said its either the Master Cylinder or the Pilot Bushing, but definetly not the clutch. So if this is the problem, will Infiniti cover this under warrantee or is it considered ware and tare?
Mine was covered under warranty as it was not normal clutch wear. Same thing if it were your brake system -- if the master cylinder failed it would be replaced under warranty since it is not supposed to fail as quickly you go through brake pads.
