Need Help on Gear ratios on G35x.(Thinking about doing gears)

Whats up fellas, I want to do Gears on my X, It sux nobody really has any answers for the allwheel drive, figured i'll try my luck, Thanx for the knowledge from now...
I know a lot of a/t Rwd (3.357ratio) guys do 6mt rears for 3.538 gears.
And from what I know all wheel drive is still on the same transmission (r200) for 5at with 3.357 final ratio.
6mt is R200v. 3.538 final ratio

What I really want to do is. 3.9 or at least 3.7 gears on my all wheel drive sedan.

Would different gears in the rear bother anything in the front?

Ive been searching and searching. Not even 1 person...

All helps appreciate fellas, I just wanna go Fast.errrr...

If your going to do the rear you would have to match it with the front. If not then the shafts would be spinning at different rates (Equal tire speed different gear ratios different shaft speeds) and this would really hurt your transmission (I'm assuming the transfer of power to the front happens in the rear of trans. If the diffs are the same (doubt it) Just do gears in both and you should be all set.

thats what I've been thinkin from the get go.
Then started thinkin since it's RWD based, would it really bother with the Front diff...
doing 2 sets of gears would be what easy close to 1000 in gears alone? lol 3.9s

03' track... Soon to be race car.
I very highly doubt you will find front diff gears....unless there is a japanese company out there that did them. However you might try searching for info on the jdm awd gear ratios. Since the 350gt coupe actual came in awd over there they might have done something different w/gear ratios.....just a thought. I would research it for you but the usdm database for nissan only covers north american cars.

Are you talking about the second generations awd? They use 3.7 front and rear differential? Where did you find this info from? I wonder if it could swap right into our diff's.

I found this info in Asist (aka nissans electronic service manual/trouble shooting guide) and yes I'm talking anout the second generation. And yes their gears will fit into your parts. The drive train setubs are virtually interchangable.
