2006 5AT Coupe Rough Shifting??

So I picked up a 2006 5AT Coupe a month ago. It had 30k miles on it, so I changed the belts but have not done any fluid or filter changes b/c most people have told me it is not necessary yet. The car is at 32k now but I have noticed some flaws. First, when I begin to accelerate from a cold start, it does a clicking/grinding noise from first to second gear. But it only does it one time and only if it is from a cold start. Second, it seems to shift rough through the gears and it seems to shift too early sometimes as well. It is not extremely rough but not smooth like I would expect from an Infiniti w/ only 30k miles. My auto RSX w/ 80k miles shifted smoother. The owner changed the oil right before she gave it to me. She used GT-1 Synthetic BLEND not full synthetic. So should I use full synthetic or go to mobile 1? Should I change any fluids like the transmission fluid? Im stumped here. Thanks for the help. I do always put in 93 octane btw.

The nose is a ABS test and shifting is way different then Acura. I had a cl type s, it was pissing me off slipping into second and down shifting on hills I hated it... learn the shift points at different speeds... I wait 2 seconds before shifting up and 1 second before shifting down.. In the cold wait till the engine is warm before driving...

Personally I would change to the oil of your choice (as long as its 75-90). I know on the 6mt if the gears arent shifting correct an easy fix is to set the car into 6th (with the shift cover plate loose) and only after it is loose in 6th tighten the bolts. Try putting it in fifth and adjust the plate. Let me know mike
