wheel bearing issue?

i'm not getting much of answers on my350z.com .. g35 guys help me out. For a couple of days, i hear some kind of big metal shaving sound under acceleration. Sometimes i feel pulsation on the gas pedal when i accelerate from 0 mph. It feels more like something got stuck on rotating part. Could this be bad wheel bearings? Do you feel the pulsation if the wheel bearings are bad?
Last time, i took my car to Big o tire for alignment, one of the tech drove my car to confirm that my car pulls to the right. When he got back, he told be front right wheel bearing might be bad. So i checked both fronts at home by raising it and wiggling the wheels. They were fine.
Today i checked the rears but the bearings were fine. i wiggled the wheels by hands.
What could be the problem?

I'm thinking you could be looking at a stuck brake piston that's keeping the pad in contact with the rotor. Might have caused the rotor to warp and this would cause the noise and vibration you are talking about.

I don't think it has to do with brakes. It's the vibration from my gas pedal when i accelerate not brake pedal. When i use brakes, there's no vibration or sound.
I think this might be the bearing issue because when i launch, there's some resistance made by metal shaving (bearings). But since there's no freeplay...idk what to do

I have the same issue, it sounds like something is loosen in the drivetrain (gearbox?? clutch plate??) It happens when i press the gas pedal harder at first gear during take off. I am thinking that my clutch is dying.

Your logic is flawed. Brakes/Gas are interconnected. If you have a sticking caliper you'll feel it under braking and acceleration.

Easy way to test the brakes to see if they are sticking. Drive around for a couple min. When you stop - hold your hand on the center of the rim for 2-3 seconds. If the one wheel is much hotter than the rest you can be confident that it is due to brake caliper sticking.

If that doesnt check out to be the cause, I would replace the wheel bearing.

i don't think its the stciking caliper because the car brakes fine, no sound or vibration when brakes are applied. I'm going toward the wheel bearings but i don't know which bearings are bad. No freeplays on any wheels

Just because there is no free play doesn't mean a wheel bearing isn't bad...I just replaced my right rear about two months ago..it was making a crackling/popping sound, and if I had my windows up and radio volume at zero I could here a wind tunnel effect sound...there wasn't any free play at all...it just started to take a **** on me and started making those sounds...I changed it right away..I wasn't gonna wait till free play started to happen.

But i don't know which wheel bearings are bad..1/4 chance of getting the right one lol

I could hear the sounds I described to you when driving and could tell it was coming from the right rear...My mechanic and I put my car on a lift and rotated my right rear tire..we verified it was the wheel bearing cause it made those sounds when we rotated it...put your car on a lift and rotate your tires one by one to check..

i jacked up my car and spun the two rear wheels. The left one is fine but when i spin the right one, i hear sand grinding sound. I guess the right rear has bad wheel bearing
How much do i have to expect to pay for wheel bearing? I might get the hub and everything since that's what everyone else does.

For the rear, do you remove the axle from the hub, use a puller to separate the hub and the bearings, put the new bearings in with grease and get it pressed at a shop?
My car has about 40000 miles. I saw many threads that people change the bearings and hub after like 70000 miles. Do you think i should get the hub too since i'll be into drifting next year?

You should make sure you take the car in before your drivetrain warranty expires. I just had my front hub bearings changed for free.. it did not solve the problem.. but I am sure the sound I hear and feel is due to my front tires being feathered..
